Add Your Own Review About O'boobigan's Irish Bar & Grill
I know you have heard me talk about O'boobigan's to death and are probably sick of hearing what I have to say about the place. So this post is strictly for the people that have visited O'boobigan's. What I want you to do is give a brief description (or detailed preferred) of your experience at O'boobigan's. All you have to do is leave a comment, you can remain Anonymous if you choose so, all I ask is give us your two cents on what you think about O'boobigan's Irish Bar & Grill and where you think it might be going in the future.

O'boobigan's another location?
So what’s all this hype about this Irish Pub & Grill O’booboigan’s? The hype is that in my opinion it is going to be the next big Irish bar and grill franchise across the United States. The bartenders there must have read bartending for beginners because they know what the hell they are doing. Now this is just my individual estimate of where O’boobigan’s will go in the near future. I do not know for sure if O’boobigan’s Irish Bar and Grill will blow up and spread its name across the United Stated, but what I do know is that tomorrow they will be under new ownership, and the new owner has plans to open up a few new O’boobigan’s locations in the Tampa Bay area.
I cannot legally verify this at all, but I can tell you a little bit of information that I do know about this little “rumor” of O’boobigan’s expanding across the Tampa Bay area. There’s word on the street that another O’boobigan’s will be opening up on Saint Pete Beach, Florida. Don’t ask me when because I have no freaking idea. When I know more information I will definitely tell you.
If you are a regular at the Ulmerton/U.S.19, location, don’t worry too much, they do not plan on moving that location, since it is a money location. You can still be a regular there, I know that I will be even though Saint Pete Beach is about 20 minutes closer for me.
I think O’boobigan’s will be a bomb ass franchise with over a hundred bars in the next ten years. Why? Because they have a great name that is far out more attractable then there competition and the set up at the first one is FAWKING money. I would go to O’boobigan’s over winghouse or Hooters any day, and again, I do not fawking work at O’boob’s, I just hype it up, remember that.

4th visit to O'boobigan's Irish Bar and Grill
Believe it or not I do not work at the new Irish Bar & Grill O’boobigan’s. Many of my friends think that I am crazy for devoting so much time to even keep up a blog about the place. Then when I go into forums speaking my opinion about O’boobigan’s the online “thugs” think I am even more crazy. Like why is this asshole putting this place in his forum signature, “oh I know why he must work there and is trying to get some shameless promotion on a new bar that opened up”.
I do not work at O’boobigan’s, I never will no matter what, I mean what’s wrong with making a blog about a new local joint that you are stoked about? Absolutely nothing. But I am willing to admit that my blog is in the top 5 G search for “O’boobigan’s”, all from just writing what I like and dislike about the place and personally I would like to see the place grow and expand.
Before I heard about O’boobigan’s I was a huge Tilted Kilt fan, before that I was a Wing House fan, and before that guess what bar I was the biggest fan of? Hooters. I guess I am always going for the underdog right? Why is that, maybe because the underdog always provides a better place with adjustments that the big names don’t have. Sure O’boobigan’s is small compared to a Wing House or Hooters, but my first time I went to the place I had a blast. It was more than sitting at a Wing House with my buddies getting a thrill out of the how waitress’s flirting with me, making think I was going to take them home or something. It was just the same old shit at Hooters and Wing House every visit.
Luckily I grew up and found a girl that I could be with my whole life, she’s pregnant with our daughter and I don’t think the same nasty thoughts I used to when I would visit a joint like this. But something about O’boobigan’s got me hooked the first visit. And I was there with my best friend whom is in the same situation that I am, pregnant girlfriend and all. We had a freaking blast, the inside bar is great and there may be only one pool table and a couple games, but still the “irish” type atmosphere is awesome. My only complaint about O’boobigan’s is the music selection, I think they should play a bit more Irish music there on the busy nights. I know they have live bands on the weekends sometimes, but even between the sets a good playlist of a couple hundred Irish drunken songs would fit the mood of the “Irish Bar & Grill” theme.
What the hell, I really need to get on topic here. Let me start talking about the title of this post, “My 4th visit at O’boobigan’s”. My future baby mama and I wanted to go out somewhere to eat, and of course I told her that I wanted to go to O’boobigan’s. So we did, even though she knew she couldn’t drink she was still down to go, hell, I had brought her the past two times and have even brought my mom there. So yeah, I kind of like the place you might say. So again on my 4th visit to O’boobigan’s it was just my girlfriend and I, we were expecting my best friend and his baby mama but they didn’t quite make it out there for disclosed reasons. We had seated ourselves inside because that’s the type of place it is at the moment, and we had to wait about 5 minutes until we had a drink served. To me that’s no big deal, but it was the manager of the place that came up and asked us for our first drink. Which I think is great, I had talked to him a bit online and he didn’t know it was the guy dominating the search engines for O’boobigan’s. He was very cool, got our drinks right away and the server was there to take our order very shortly after.
I had ordered the chicken wings as hot as they come, they were not super hot though at all but I believe in the future they will “spice” up the wings a little for us select few that can handle the heat. My girl ordered some waffle fire things, the shit was huge and she only ate half and got full, pretty good deal for about 5 bucks on the menu. We had made it there before happy hour ended so the wings were 35 cents apiece and my drinks were half off. And believe me when you drink about8 Bacardi n cokes in a one hour sit down happy hour is your best friend at the bar. I was disappointed that my buddy and his baby mama didn’t show up so I was about ready to leave. Right before we left got the managers attention and told him who I was and that I was the psycho writing a blog about this place. He was nice offered to grab me a pitcher on him but I had to refuse because the old lady had to get home and she hates driving in the rain.
The manager did tell me though that O’boobigan’s is transferring to a new owner July 31st, and there will be a newer location or two of the Irish Bar & Grill O’boobigan’s. So it looks like O’boobigan’s will be a growing franchise, starting off in Pinellas County, just like Hooters, just like Wing House, just like Tilted Kilt. I believe in time O’boobigan’s will be up on the same scale of Hooters and Wing House, call me crazy but the best Wing places have started in Pinellas County, better known as the Tampa Bay area. So if this poor sorry drunk that’s been to every bar in Pinellas County recommends this joint, you should at least give it a try on the weekend. Come on down and enjoy yourself at O’boobigan’s, ask around for D.wep, if I am there I will let you buy me a drink or two, jeah.

The typical hours of O'boobigan's are 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 A.M, Monday through Sunday. The bar will stay open pending on the amount of customers it has at the moment. The kitchen closes at 1:00 A.M.

3rd visit to O'boobigan's
So I like this place O’boobigan’s so much that I decided that I would bring my mom out there to check the place out. It was me, my girlfriend and my mom and we went out there on a Friday night. Me and my girlfriend got there at about 6:30, so that was cool because happy hour was still alive for another 30 minutes, which was awesome because I got all my drinks half off for that 30 minutes and I am a power drinker when the tab is low so your damn right I took advantage of O’boobigan’s happy hour.
But I was really at O’boobigan’s to have some food with my mom and my girlfriend not to just get drunk and be belligerent. Every time I go to O’boobigan’s I order something different off of the menu, last time I ordered the hot wings and I loved them, this time though I ordered the mahi mahi sandwich and it was better than I expected it to be. Really hit the spot. My girlfriend had ordered the O’boobigan Burger, she liked it but she was complaining to me that the burger was too big and she couldn’t fit it into her mouth.
My mom ordered the ‘fish and chips’, she had ate half of it but they bring you 2 big ass pieces of cod so it’s quite a meal. The place was packed this Friday night and it usually is on the weekends, the week days can be kind of slow but O’boobigan’s on the weekend is packed outside and inside, although you should have instant seating inside the outside bar is usually pretty crowded on the weekends, but the service is still fast and precise. So I went there this Friday with my family and had some great food, and on top of that the Devil Rays won that night. So come on down to O’boobigan’s, if you do I’ll let you buy me a drink

O'boobigan's Amenitie's
This post I am going to talk a little bit about what the Irish Bar and Grill O’boobigans has to offer at the moment. Inside the bar they currently have 9 VIZIO high definition flat screens, most of which are probably 32” with one big flat screen by the bar, probably a 59”. (These are only guesses please correct me if wrong and I will update ) I think during this years football season there will be a lot of customers at O’boobigan’s to watch the games, I know that I will be there for some of them.
Another cool thing about the inside bar at O’boobigans is that they have a mini arcade room, they currently only have three games though, Silver Strike Bowling Machine, the Golden Tee Golf video game, and they have a toy chest there where you can win stuffed animals and stuff. They also have a bar-sized pool table in there as well, which is currently in excellent condition being that it is still new. If you see someone playing on the table winning continuously, then you are probably watching me play then because I do not loose.
The outside bar is really cool, that’s usually where I hang out at if I’m chillin with my homies, that way I can smoke my cigarettes and drink at the same time. The atmosphere is great out there. They also have 9 tables outside by the bar so you can sit and eat outside too if you like.

2nd visit to O'Boobigans
So it’s been a couple of weeks since the last time that I’ve visited O’Boobigans Irish Pub and Grille, and today I decided that I would bring my girlfriend with me. It was a Monday night and the place was kind of dead, but we ordered some food and I drank a pitcher and we had a good time regardless. We took some pictures, we laughed, and we talked about our baby girl that is due in less than 3 months. I had ordered 10 non breaded hot wings and she had ordered a Caesar salad which she really liked, and she is often picky about her caeser salads. Our waitress Heather was very nice and chipper, seemed to have a good attitude even though the O’boobigans Irish Pub and Grill wasn’t busy at all, me and my girlfriend were almost the only customers inside the restaurant besides one other couple, but then again it was a Monday night. And the outside bar had about 10 people sitting around the bar.
I guess some people really enjoy the outside bar at O’boobigans, I know I certainly do because it’s different then other Irish Bar and Grills, I think O’boobigans has an advantage over hooters and winghouse just because of the outside bar. Now if they would get some T.V.’s out there that would be great !! The first time that I had visited O’Boobigans was on a Friday night and it was much more packed then the Monday I went there. But both times that I went the staff was extremely courteous, and I believe that O’Boobigans will grow into a huge franchise in the next 5-years from now. All the great chicken wing and ‘boob’ type bars originate in the 727, Pinellas county, so there’s no reason that O’Boobigans shouldn’t rise up in the rankings. If you are in the Pinellas area you might as well try it out, it’s a good bar to chill at with great atmosphere, and if for some odd reason you don’t like it, there’s 2 strip clubs that are in walking distance, one of them babydolls, is 2 seconds away, and the other Oz, is about a 1 minute walk. So quit debating, I wouldn’t be writing about this place if I didn’t like it, just stop by and see what you think, and if I happen to be there and you see me, buy me a drink.

1st experience at Oboobigans
I heard about the Irish Pub & grill O'Boobigans from a friend and said it was a great bar to visit. O'boobigans has been open for about 3 months, and its popularity is growing very very fast. O'boobigans is located in Clearwater, Florida, it is right in the middle of a couple of strip clubs located right off of U.S.19 and Ulmerton road.
O'Boobigans was explained to me to be compared to bar & grills such as Hooters and Winghouse, my first impreession of O'boobigans was great. The staff at O'boobigans was very very courteous, everyone was nice there, at first me and my buddy had went inside and sat at the bar. The bar at O'boobigans is very cool, they have a bunch of HD flatscreen t.v.'s with all the sports games playing, which is a must if a bar is trying to make good customers come back. The waitresses there were very friendly and they are on the same standard that Hooters and Winghouse are on.
I believe in about 2-3 years o'boobigans will be a major bar & grill around Florida, the best wing places have originated in the Largo, Clearwater Florida district. (aka WingHouse and Hooters). So why not O'boobigans? It is a great candidate, and the location of the first O'boobigans is located right next to baby dolls gentleman club, Genius ! This place has a great atmosphere and extremely friendly staff I will be back and encourage anyone who hasn't been to check the place out ! O'boobigans, Clearwater, Florida.
